Vikram Gandhi
Vikram Gandhi, Chair of the Taksha Movie Arts Center (TMAC), is an award-winning director and producer of fiction and non-fiction film, television, and commercials. His first company DISPOSABLE created the first web series for channels and brands like Comedy Central, IFC, HBO, American Express, AOL, and others. His directorial debut, KUMARÉ won the Audience Award at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival in 2011 and was released in theaters internationally. Since, he’s directed and produced HBO’s Emmy-winning series “VICE”, and the Netflix Originals “BARRY”, “TRIGGER WARNING”, and “GRASS IS GREENER.” He is also a Senior Correspondent on HBO’s Emmy-Winning News Series “VICE”. His current company PROPHETS (prophets.net) is a next-generation content studio making innovative and thoughtful entertainment for television, film, and digital media with a slate of long form documentary projects.
