Open Meeting: “Women and the Digital Divide”
Hosted by: Elevating Women Working Group
Join SSPI-WISE as we explore the impact of the digital divide on women around the world, and how space and satellite technologies can help bridge the gap. The February meeting is open to all.
Our sponsor is Hughes, as we join the wider campaign, “Bridging the Broadband Gap.“ Now more than ever, humans need connection to thrive. Satellite has the potential to massively shrink the digital divide in a generation. Will we succeed? AND, will we be able to make a difference in the lives of women?
Speakers Include:
- Maria Hedden, COO, Comtech
- Sharyn Nerenberg, VP Corporate Communications & Marketing, Echostar
- Moderator: Tamara Bond-Williams, SSPI Director of Engagement
